Many southeast Michigan residents were in the dark this Thanksgiving. About 106-thousand DTE Energy customers lost power while strong winds battered the region Wednesday.
More than one-thousand families were able to have a Thanksgiving meal thanks to a Holland non-profit. Community Action House provided turkeys and sides to those in need.
A wrong-way driver in Grand Haven is in custody and facing several charges. Ottawa County Sheriff's deputies tried to pull over a vehicle that was going in the wrong direction on U.S. 31 near the Ferrysburg exit Thursday morning.
